Armor for Sleep is a New Jersey-based band known for their unique brand of atmospheric emo, sometimes referred to as dream pop.

Their 2005 breakthrough album What to Do When You Are Dead was a concept album about death and the afterlife told from the perspective of a suicide victim. The album was a critical success and spawned the minor hit "The Truth about Heaven," which got regular play on the Fuse television network.

All you have to do to enter to win a free AFS T-Shirt is to sign up for the Ghosthunters at afs-team.com, and follow the instructions there! It's really easy and a great way to win free stuff. Ghosthunters are constantly thinking of creative ways to promote Armor for Sleep, as well as being able to attend special meet and greets and listening parties that are exclusive to Ghosthunters only! This year, Armor for Sleep has joined the Bamboozle Roadshow 2008 featuring Saves the Day, Set Your Goals, and Metro Station. The tour will kick-off March 28th in Seattle, WA with 37 stops around the country, including Irvine, CA for Bamboozle Left and and E. Rutherford, NJ for the Hoodwink and Bamboozle Festivals.

Thanks to all of you amazing people who call in and go online to request Hold the Door, Armor for Sleep has been getting a lot of love on the west coast from KROQ!!! Every weeknight, KROQ counts down the five most requested songs of the day at 9 pm for a segment called the Furious Five at Nine and Hold the Door has made several appearances in the countdown! This is very exciting and really great news for Armor for Sleep. Thank you soooo much for your support!

Thanks so much for everyone who submitted designs for the T-Shirt Design contest!! We can't believe how artistic you all are- it was honestly a really hard choice. Before starting their tour with Saosin, Armor for Sleep is out on tour with Four Year Strong!! You can catch this short-lived tour on the following dates:

1/17 @ Uncle Pleasant's in Louisville, KY
1/18 @ The Foundry in Joplin, MO
1/19 @ The Door in Dallas, TX
